The Girl who lied.

It was a gloomy Sunday Morning when the Bustamante Family was in the bus terminal waiting for the bus going to Manila to arrive, when Aintazia the only daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Bustamante who lives in the province of Ilocos Sur was looking at the other bus take off, she told herself “The happiness that I feel right now is immeasurable, As if I won a hundred million pesos jackpot in the lottery. I will never be separated to my parents and older brother again, We are now on our way to Manila, to the Abalos’ compound, the place where we will leave altogether as a complete and happy family, but we are not a perfect family, because we are poor, we are working for someone, I know that if we are rich, I am sure that I am the happiest person in the world, but unfortunately we are not, so there is no reason for me to be happy except for the fact that I have a complete family. Anyway when we reach Manila I want to thank Mr. Abalos for hiring my parents to be the caretaker of their Compound in Manila unfortunately my Mother told me that they are in a vacation in Greece and they don’t know when they will come back. “

The bus came without Aintazia noticing it, her Father called her “Here comes the bus Aintazia, come on carry your bag” her father said “Yes Father” said Aintazia.

As soon as they get in the bus Aintazia sleep because her father told her that it will take six to eight hours before they get to Manila.

On the other side of the world particularly in Greece where the Abalos Family spent their summer vacation together with their only daughter Chardae, they are in the Greece International Airport waiting for their flight back to Manila, Chardae was listening to the music when she thought “ Summer vacation has ended, I only have three days left to be able to prepare for my school, I haven’t got any materials for my class but it is fine, I am feeling more than the word happy right now because I am able to spend my vacation for the first time with my Parents, I know that there is nothing more I can ask for, for I have everything that I want and need. Not merely by financial means but through Emotional, Spiritual and Physical needs. Thank you God for everything. “

The Plane came and told her Mother and Father “Mom, Dad thank you for spending this summer vacation with me here in Greece, I am really happy to be with you.” Chardae’s mother and father looked at her with a grin on their face, and then hug her tightly; her father told her “We are happier because we have a daughter like you”. After they have hug each other they all get inside the Plane and take their sits. Chardae sleep in the plane.

After a few hours the Bustamante came in the Abalos’ compound, Aintazia was looking all over the place, she was amaze because the Abalos’ compound is so beautiful, she said “This is all that I ever wish for; this is the place where I want to live. The cars, the swimming pool, the beautiful huge House, Oh! Pinch me and tell me that this is true.” Then the older brother of Aintazia pinches her and told her “Dream on Aintazia, we are going to live here because Mother and Father will work here as a caretaker”, Aintazia looked at her brother with a great anger in her face then their Mother told her “Yes, Aintazia we are going to live here to work not to own the place, and you have to make sure that you will go home straight after class so that you can help us here” then Aintazia walked out and went to see her room.

As she enters here room she was saying bad words, then she said ” I love this place but I hate it in some other way, God you are unfair, when I was in Ilocos I told you to make me rich, to make me own everything that I want so that I will have a lot of friends, You gave my parents a job, but this is an awful job, we are going to work for other people, If you really love me you should have given me this House, Car and all the riches.” Aintazia fell asleep while talking to God and blaming God for all the things that happens to her life.

The next day, the Abalos Family arrive from Greece, Chardae went up to her room right away and fix all her things to prepare for school, she list down all the things that she needs for the school because she only have two days before the school starts.

While Aintazia is inside her room listing the things that she needs to buy for school too. When she finished writing the things that she needs to buy for her school, she went out and told her Mother “ Hey Mother, I need money to buy new things for my school” her mother replied “How much do you need?” Aintazia said “I need a million of pesos” her Father heard what Aintazia said and told her “What? You need a million pesos? What kind of school things are you going to buy? Are they made out of gold?” then Aintazia said “I need a million pesos to buy a Car, this house is far away from my school, I don’t want to ride on a Jeep because it is very hot...” then here father told her “Shut up! Aintazia, you know that we are not rich! You know that we can’t afford to buy a car and yet you want me to give you a big amount of money, Here is three hundred pesos, go now and buy the things that you need for school, be happy and contented on what you have not all people can have three hundred pesos” then Aintazia took the money and left right away.

Chardae was on her way out of the house headed to the Book store when her Mother told her “Chardae my dear, where are you going?” then Chardae said “I’m on my way to the book store Mother, I have to buy the things I need for school, Is there anything you want me to buy for you?” then her Mother answered “No! My child! Here is 1000 pesos, keep safe Chardae” then Cahrdae took the money that her mother gave her, “Thank You Mother, I will give you the change when I return, I must go now.” Then Chardae left their house.

Both Aintazia and Chardae do not know that they are living in one compound.

The class starts, both Aintazia and Chardae is preparing for the first day of class.

Chardae wakes up very early everyday to the point that no one in their house is not yet awake because she needs to get out of the house; she doesn’t want her driver to bring her to school because she enjoys riding in a Jeep.

By the time that Chardae leave their house that is the time that Aintazia wakes up and prepare for school, when she is done preparing for school, Aintazia went out and talked to her father “Father, I’m going to be late for school, can you please borrow one of the cars of Mr. Abalos and used it to bring me to school so that I will not be late.” Then her father replied “Alright!, Good thing that Mr. And Mrs. Abalos left early for work and their daughter is not around, I will talk to Dadong and ask if he could lend me one of the Abalos’ car.” Then Aintazia hug her father and said, “I love you Father thank you, but it is better if we have our own car.” Then her Father left, get the car and drive the car of the Abalos’ going to the school where Aintazia and Chardae studies.

When Aintazia arrive, her classmates were in front of their school waiting for her. She went out of the car and waves her hands to her classmates; Sally the best friend of Aintazia asked her “Good heavens! Is that your car? Who is the man driving?” then Aintazia answered “Yes the Heaven must have been good, Oh! Yes Sally that is my new car, the one who is driving that was my Driver.” Then Aintazia walk towards the entrance of the school and get inside the campus.

On the other hand, Chardae arrives at school twenty minutes earlier than Aintazia.

This is the everyday scenario of the two Ladies when going to school.

It was their preliminary examination when Chardae woke up late because she slept late last night due to studying, for this day she have no other choice but to ride on her car and let her driver to bring her to school or otherwise she will be late for her exam.

When Chardae left the compound, Aintazia finished preparing for school, and went out of their house, she called her father “Father come on bring me to school right now, I don’t want to be late because it is exam day” her father said “I’m sorry Aintazia, I can’t bring you to school, all the cars of the Abalos’ are out, you better go now and ride on the Jeep so that you will not be late.” Then Aintazia said “See Father! This is because of you! If you buy a car for me then there is a car for me to used in going to school, If I fail in the exam because I will arrive late at school, It is all your fault!” then Aintazia left and ride on a Taxi on her way to school. Meanwhile, Chardae arrive in school ten minutes before the examination start, on her way to the entrance of the school, Sally talked to her “Hello, Chardae, You have a very beautiful car, it is like the car of Aintazia” then Chardae replied “Really, we must have the same taste that is why we have the same car, anyway I must get inside now.” Then Sally said “Okay! See you in the room, we will wait for Aintazia” then Chardae said “Then I must go now”. By the time Aintazia arrive, Chardae was already in the classroom. Sally together with the other friends of Aintazia was curious when they saw her coming out from the taxi, Sally said “ Aintazia, where is your car? Why did you ride on a taxi?” then Aintazia said “Well! My car is at home, I don’t want to bring it today because I want to experience what it’s like to ride in a Taxi” then Sally said “Oh! I see, by the way Chardae have the same car as yours.” Then Aintazia said “Really, Anyway, we must go now it’s already time” then they all went inside the classroom.

As the day went on, a lot of lies, fake flaunting of things that Aintazia claims to be hers many believe her, and she gain a lot of friends, Aintazia became famous because of her continuous lies about her riches. Chardae was proud Aintazia but they did not became friends because she is always busy studying.

One afternoon their Class Adviser called all the students to gather for an urgent meeting about their upcoming University week, one of the event in the University week is the Car show, their class is task to bring two expensive car for the car show, when their teacher asked “So now, Who does have an expensive car? You have to bring it tomorrow for the car show” then Sally raised her hands and said “Ma’am, Aintazia owns a lot of expensive car, and I am sure that she can bring more than what we are require for.” Then their teacher said “Oh! Why yes, Aintazia, I heard that you come from a rich family, you must bring you cars in the school tomorrow.” Then Aintazia was not able to talk she just smile and nod at their teacher, then their teacher said that they can all go home now.

When Aintazia reach home, she was crying inside her room then her older brother went inside and asked her “Why are you crying Aintazia? What happened?” then Aintazai told her brother what happened, her brother love Aintazia so much to the point when his brother made a plan to take away the two expensive cars of the Abalos’.

The next morning, Mr. And Mrs. Abalos were mad and shouting, they called the police and told that their car is missing, Chardae went down and told her parents, “Mom, Dad, there is no need to call the police to come over our house, don’t you remember that our car has a GPS tracking device, we can locate it where ever it is.” Then her Father said “Oh! Yes! You are really smart my child, however the police are on their way here, what we can do is to locate the car, and bring along with us the police men where ever our cars is at.” Then Chardae began to use here GPS tracking device to used it to find their car, when they check where it is, they were surprised that the cars was in the school of Chardae. Mr. And Mrs. Abalos together with Chardae and the police men went to the school of Chardae, when they arrive at the school, her parents talked to the Dean of the School.

The Dean got mad, and made an announcement at the school while the event is ongoing. After her announcement she let the policemen to search for the two missing car.

When they go around the campus where the cars are located, the Parents of Chardae was shocked when they saw their car, with the name on the top. CAR OWNER: Aintazia Bustamante, they got angry and told the police to arrest Aintazia, Chardae told her parents not to arrest Aintazia because she did not mean to do it, then Aintazia run out of the school crying in pain, All the students were looking at her and was really upset for what they have discover about her.

The owner of the school was really mad that he told the Dean to expel Aintazia from school due to the disgrace that she brought to her school.

After one week, Aintazia is always in her bedroom, crying and upset due to what had happened. Chardae went up to her room and told her that she talked to the School owner for her to be able to go back to school again, Aintazia was convinced on what Chardae told her, so she went back to school again the next day.

When she got back in School everybody is looking at her, and talking behind her back, saying a lot of rude words and telling her that there is no room for a liar like her, Chardae told her not to mind them because eventually they will stop bullying her, but as the day passed by the situation is getting worst.

Aintazia, cried and shout.

“Aintazia wake up!, Stop Crying”  her Mother said

“Where am I? What happened? What day is it today?” she said

“You are here at the Abalos’ compound this is where we are going to live, you got mad at us awhile ago, went here in your room, cried until you fell asleep, You suddenly cried and shou...”her mother said, then Aintazia interrupted “Okay! I get it! I get it! But what day is it today?” then her mother said “it is three days before your class starts”

Then tears from Aintazia’s eyes fell down, she smiled and said “Oh! Mother thank you! Thank you! It was just a dream, Oh God thank you for everything that I have today, thank you! Thank you! Thank you! From now on I promised that I will be contented and proud on what I have, I will never ever lie Mother, I promise!”
